Aringar Anna in front of the Red Building at Anna University! I think.. His statue, portraying him as studying even at this old age, might have been one of the reasons for many 'pandus' in my college!!!

Solitude

This photo was taken by me in my college!! Known location for many.. but wouldn't be able to realise it!!! The way I walked through for the past 4 years to the department!! The tree every girl saw when coming out of LH!! Really it was amazing to see its relflection on water!! Jus clicked!! [ But a mild shake.. For I didnt have a tripod with me and it needed long exposure... ]

Locked up

A long corridor.. resembling the old jails.. at Anna University!! Being the best place at AU, the Red building has immense things to admire at. This long corridor is one among those architectural marvels!!

Ernakulam

During the Industrial Visit to Kerala this month, I happened to reach Ernakulam at 4 o'clock in the morning. The city was totally calm, giving me enuf time to take such a picture at a popular junction in the city. This is one of the very few photos i took without any shake with long exposure during the night!!

Anna University

This photo was taken during the 27th Valedictory function at Anna University. It was really amazing to see Anna University with lights flooding the lanes!! Anna University seemed to dressed in a formal attire that day..!! Of all.. The Main Building rocked as usual!!!

2 Fast 2 Furious

One more photo from the night collections!! Tried to trap a van speeding at a high speed.. ipch.. cud only get the trace of its head light!!! A fine streak of head light from the van in red makes a rich look for the abondoned koturpuram road!!

A night ride at Mount Road

These 2 photos were taken at Mount Road, few days back, at around 11.30 in the night, while returning after treat... These are streaks of headlight from cars and bikes on the other side of the road.. The reason for such an effect is that I used the night mode for taking the snap!! In the night mode, the aperture speed is slow, taking long time for capture. Since more amount of light falls into the lens and the object is in motion, i got a streak of light!! If i wasnt riding, then there wudn't have been any motion blur giving much more effect to the photo!!
